Early in his career, Bob managed the $200 million national advertising launch of MCI’s breakthrough Friends & Family product. He also served as VP of Marketing for Digex, Incorporated, a national Web hosting and management firm that grew 100% annually during his tenure and went through not one but two IPOs. In addition, Bob was director of product marketing for Verisign, the leading web identity and security firm and Chief Marketing Officer of SingleShop, a venture-backed online shopping startup that burst along with the 2000 dotcom bubble.

Bob’s work and writing has been featured in or covered by the Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, the Miami Herald, USA Today, Marketing News (the AMA’s flagship magazine), The Washington Business Journal and SmartCEO DC magazine.

Bob graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a BS in Marketing and resides in Potomac, MD with his wife and two teenage sons.

Pamela Lynne Sorensen is the Director of BD & Community Relations at BetterWorld Telecom, a certified B Corporation. A known Influencer & former Blogger (Pamela’s Punch which was founded in 2006) in the DC region, Pamela has 22 + years of sales and BD experience. She attended Penn State University where she was a Tri-Delta and earned a B.A. in Speech Communications (’94). After graduation, Pamela stayed in the NoVA area and began her career working in a variety of industries, including defense contracting, professional services, telecom, and executive networking, yet always for emerging companies. She played an integral role in the revenue stream growth and success of Net2000 Communications, Potomac Officers Club, and ExecutiveBiz, where she became a Partner.

Pamela has been featured as Gilt City DC’s “Guest Curator”, has appeared on Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE online advertisement, has spoken at her alma mater during “Start-Up Week” four years in a row, and was featured in the Lindsay Volkswagen’s “Sign Then Drive” commercial which aired throughout the Washington Metro area on television. She is on the list of TopRank Online Marketing’s 2014 25 Women Who Rock Social Media. Pamela was also the co-host for Washington Life TV’s “Year in Review” on the CW-DC50, specifically on the “Most Fashionable” segment and was the guest interview for Verizon FiOS1’s “Push Pause” show. In spring 2010 and winter of 2011, Pamela was a guest on the national radio show Peter Greenberg World Wide as a DC Insider. She has made numerous guest interview appearances on FOX News Sunday (nationally), NewsChannel 8/WJLA, “Live This Morning”, “Let’s Talk Live!”, and “Washington Business Tonight with Rebecca Cooper”, Comcast Newsmakers, DC’s Office of Cable Television TV-16, DC Compass, and was a frequent guest on radio’s MiX 107.3FM with Tommy McFly. She was the live Washington, DC correspondent interview Inauguration evening 2009 for FOX News Channel and is the My City Life Correspondent for the podcast “Miss This Show and Die!” which is based out of Los Angeles.

In 2010, Pamela contributed to Washington Life magazine with her article in SUNDANCETWENTYTEN. Early in 2009, she was chosen out of thousands of applicants to be on a television episode of Discovery Channel’s Planet Green’s “Emeril Green” with celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse. The episode aired Monday, September 28th, 2009 at 8pm EST. During the show, Emeril shared helpful cooking and eating tips for Pamela as she manages her busy life about town. In 2008 Pamela was chosen to be the “Insider” for the 2009 Wallpaper* Washington, DC Tour Guide book.

She has been featured in publications such as Town & Country magazine, WHERE magazine, NBC4 Washington, DC website DC magazine, Washington Life, Capitol File, Local Kicks, FamousDC, mediabistro FishBowlDC, Examiner,  Scene Bisnow, New York Social Diary’s Washington Social Diary, The Hill, Washington Post, The Washington Times, Washington Post Express, Fashion Washington, Washingtonian, and was chosen by Washingtonian as one of “Washington’s 25 Most Beautiful People” in 2002.

Pamela has been assigned to blog across the world in places such as Miraval Resort, AZ, Borrego Springs, CA, Essaouira, Morocco, Paris, France, the country of Wales and other exotic locales.

She has helped to raise millions of dollars for countless non-profits including: Colon Cancer Alliance, Humane Rescue Alliance, National Cherry Blossom Festival, DC Central Kitchen, Refugees International, Trust for the National Mall, Leukemia Lymphoma Society NCA & Red Cross NCA.

Pamela is a member of the Explore! Children’s Museum of DC Board, NVTC Small Business & Entrepreneur Committee and the Alzheimer’s Association of the National Capital Area’s (NCA) Concern & Awareness Committee. She was on the 2017 Fashion for Paws Executive Committee/Fundraising Ambassador, Best Buddies of the NCA 2017 Prom Host Committee, Chance for Life Charity Poker Tournament Host Committee, played a part again in Shakespeare Theater Company’s 2017 “Will on the Hill” production, and serves on Artists & Athletes Alliance Advisory Board. She was a Mentor for Conscious Venture Lab entrepreneurs.

Pamela retired blogging in March 2016, but continues to be actively engaged in the online community as @pamelaspunch.
