The Role of the Personal Advisory Board
As you grow into your ideal life, building a trusted team of friends and mentors becomes that much more important. They are the people who push you, teach you, motivate you, and celebrate you. They’ll be brutally honest at times, and this is a good thing–because when they tell you that you are amazing, you won’t think twice about believing it. Just as important as having an advisory board is making sure the right people are on it–and we’ll help you find the right ones.
At The Dating Advisory Board, we offer several services that help you recognize the passions, clarity, and compassion that catapulted your career–and we help you apply them to the rest of your life.
Five Tips to Build Your Personal Advisory Board
The best things in life are free. Including this free download to get you started.
The Take Charge Audit
The Take Charge Audit is the first step in uncovering what’s holding you back from a life you love. It uses the same approach a corporate boardroom would apply when figuring out how to best direct a company in times of uncertainty–from big-picture analysis to the little details that make it all happen. It’s thorough, supported, and a little ruthless. And it works.
First, we do a little fact-finding. You’ll take a comprehensive assessment that identifies your level of satisfaction in eight key areas of your life and what you ultimately–and specifically–want out of each of them. You’ll take a little time with this so you can settle into a deeply honest conversation with yourself. The questions you’ll be asked to answer are a little intense, and that’s on purpose. I’ve had many women gain profound clarity just from this stage of the process.
Once I review the assessment, I will review the results with you in a one-on-one session. We’ll go over everything in detail, including the information and recommendations from experts in the top three areas of your life.
The advice you hear at this stage may not feel new. In fact, there’s a good chance you’ve heard some of it before, and even tried to follow it once or twice. The Dating Advisory Board difference: We give you specific, actionable steps to bridge your current life to the one you were meant to have. Not only that, we’ll hold you accountable so you can hold on to your progress.
We’ll focus on:
- Your professional goals
- Your self-esteem
- Your finances
- Your spirituality
- Your health and wellness
- Your family
- Your social life
- Your love life
This life-changing process will not happen overnight; you’ll have to wrestle with old habits, strong triggers, and all the fear that’s holding you back.
I promise you it won’t be easy. I also promise you it can be amazing.
My clients are accomplished, amazing, get-after-it kind of women. They are the best combination of passionate and compassionate. They’ve poured their heart and souls to their careers–and now it’s time for what worked in their career to pour itself back into their lives.
